Could you briefly introduce Novacar?
Novacar is a car rental brand created by the Eşmen Family, which has more than half a century of commercial history, by blending its deep-rooted experience in the automotive sector with a new generation perspective. Since 1991, the Eşmen Family has been operating in the automotive sector and offers short and long term corporate car rental services with Novacar, taking its experience in different fields such as food, tourism and real estate behind it.
As Novacar, we aim to provide a quality, comfortable and reliable rental experience to our customers all around Turkey with our fleet of near-zero and up-to-date vehicles.
What makes Novacar different from other brands in the sector?
- Customer satisfaction-oriented service approach:
We proved our determination in this field by winning the "Gold" award for two consecutive years at the A.C.E. Awards, one of the most prestigious customer experience awards in Turkey. All feedback from our customers reaches our management team directly, simultaneously with the relevant department. We meticulously analyze every constructive evaluation, take the necessary action and do not hesitate to communicate with our customers one-on-one. How was 2024 for the car rental sector?
The year 2024 came with many challenges for the car rental sector. Many companies fell behind their targets due to economic fluctuations, exchange rates, and the increase in fleet costs.
In this period, we, as Novacar, turned inward and focused on increasing our operational efficiency and strengthening the harmony within the team. With the right strategies and decisive steps, we closed the year with minimal negative impact.
For 2025, what are the main trends you foresee in the car rental industry?
- Deepening Digitalization
Customer expectations are now shaped around speed, convenience and transparency. Mobile applications, AI-powered customer services and contactless rental solutions are likely to evolve.
- Increasing Share of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles:
Carbon footprint reduction targets, environmental awareness and regulations drive companies to invest in electric vehicles. By 2025, the proportion of electric options in the fleet of many rental companies will increase significantly. Customers' increasing expectation of fuel savings is also an important factor in accelerating this transformation.
- Data-driven Service Design:
With systems that analyze user behavior, customer-specific offers, personalized services and campaigns can stand out. The question "To whom, when and what kind of offer?" will be answered with data.
- Experience Oriented Approach:
Car rental is not just a transportation service; it is a holistic travel experience. This has always been the case, but as in every field, the importance of experience is increasing day by day. Users demand not only clean, safe and comfortable vehicles, but also easy communication, quick solutions and a pleasant interaction process.
- New Generation Customer Profile and Expectations:
Young users are looking for more flexible, fast and digital experiences. At the same time, they care about the values of brands. Since social responsibility, environmental awareness and user-friendly approaches are preferred, brands have to add these preference criteria to their road maps.
What are the new solutions you have developed to increase customer satisfaction?
The Novaclub Loyalty Program, which we have explained in detail before, is one of the steps we have taken to increase customer satisfaction.
However, we care about offering a comfortable travel experience, not just a vehicle. In this direction, we offer our guests technological accessories for daily needs such as USB and chargers in addition to our vehicles.
We make our fleet preferences based on the expectations of our customers and favor vehicles with high level of equipment and new technology.
In the name of environmental awareness on the one hand and economic sustainability on the other, we tend towards fuel-efficient, hybrid and electric vehicles. We are aware that fuel is an additional burden on rental costs; therefore, we shape our fleet accordingly so that our guests can have an environmentally and budget-friendly journey.
What can you say about the Novacar and RentiCar cooperation?
Both brands have a very similar approach to operational processes and customer satisfaction. Our cooperation is based on mutual trust and transparent communication. Renticar works with many brands and it is valuable for us to establish a sustainable and mutually beneficial relationship within this structure.
