October Theater Recommendations for Istanbulites
There is never an end to the events in Istanbul, but October is especially full!
Thanks to concerts, festivals, stage, meditation and sports events, it is possible to socialize, discharge and relax almost everywhere in Istanbul. This month, we have compiled some of the plays that excite us from the stage events for theater lovers.
Mahşer-i Cümbüş
Mahşer-i Cümbüş, the pioneer of Modern Improvisational Theater in Turkey, continues to bring "Theater Sport", one of the performance forms of improvisational theater, to the audience for the first time in Turkey. In each play, 2 people from the audience are taken on stage and the audience is allowed to act for 2 skits. Who knows, you might be the next one to take the stage. ????
Memoirs of a Madman
One of Nikolay Gogol's most beloved works, The Memoirs of a Madman, was adapted for the theater stage in 1965 and performed as the first one-man play in Turkey by Genco Erkal at the Ankara Art Theater.
Take your place to watch the play "Bir Delinin Hatıra Defteri", which tells the story of a schizophrenic's inner world and the events he writes in his memoirs, with Metin Zakoğlu's interpretation.

Trees Die Standing
After losing their children in a plane crash, a family's most important and only asset is their grandchildren. The grandfather, who adheres to family traditions, has problems with his grandson, whom he catches stealing, and breaks their ties. You can watch the play "Ağaçlar Ayakta Ölür" starring Nevra Serezli, whom we miss seeing on the theater stages, at various venues.

Charlie's Chocolate Factory
Willy Wonka, the world's most famous chocolatier and owner of a huge chocolate factory, puts Golden Tickets in only five of all the Wonka chocolates in the world. He will show these five children, who find the tickets, around his factory, which no one has ever seen before. He will also give a big prize to the first child in this competition that no one knows about. While the other children try all the ways to find the tickets, Charlie finds the ticket by pure chance and then the adventure begins.
