What to do if your vehicle registration is lost

-First of all, you should go to the nearest police station as soon as possible to report a lost license. After filling in the documents given to you, the police authorities will start your procedures immediately.
-Then, as a detail that is often overlooked, you should place a lost license advertisement in the newspaper. In this way, your vehicle license becomes unusable by others.
-Once this is done, you need to start the process for a new license.
New License Acquisition
First of all, there are some rules necessary for you to renew your license. Your vehicle must have no tax debt and the vehicle owner must not owe any traffic fines. If you do not know these, you can find out by inquiring via e-Government.
Documents Required for New License
-Identity card or passport
-The document given to you during your lost license application at the Police Headquarters
-Engine and general inspection report of the vehicle
-Certificate of compulsory traffic insurance
-Guardianship letter to the person authorized during the license procedures
With these documents, you can complete your new license issuance process.
License renewal prices are as follows:
-Motorized vehicle registration document fee: 250 TL
-Total fee to be paid for the purchase and sale of the vehicle: 457 TL
