Sarımsaklı Beach is 8 km from the center of Ayvalık and 130 km from the center of Balıkesir. There is no entrance fee, but umbrellas can be rented for 25 TL.
Altinova Coast
Altınova Coast is generally a quiet place. Many water sports such as diving, surfing, sailing and canoeing can be done in the clean and clear sea. The sandy beach consisting of fine sands shines and attracts the eye. It is 150 km from the center of Balıkesir and 13 km from the center of Ayvalık. Entrance to Altınova beach is free of charge and if you go to this beach, we recommend you to watch the sunset from the clear view.
Igdeli Beach
Igdeli Beach is located in Armutçuk region. You can reach this beach, which is 3 km from the center of Ayvalık, on foot. It is frequented by those who prefer close places with its clean and fine sandy beach and warm sea. The entrance to the sea is rocky but not after.
Badavut Beach
Located in the west of Sarımsaklı region, this beach is also known as Badavut Bay. It is a quiet place away from the crowds. Ortunc Bay
Ortunç Bay on Alibey Island is one of the most preferred beaches with its clean sea. It is close to the center of Cunda and 12 km from the center of Ayvalık. The sea with cold water suddenly deepens and many boats visit this bay. For this reason, the calmest time is after 17:00.
